Nina Wennerström founded Wesport in 2014 and currently serves as the company’s CEO. Nina has over 13 years of experience within the international sports management industry and has throughout her career recruited and represented some of the best athletes in the world.
Nina leads Wesport across our entire client portfolio, ranging from representing our tennis and ice hockey players to serving as a sports marketing consultant to major corporations. With a mission to over-deliver, Nina motivates her team to accelerate through impact, creating a winning environment for our clients and staff.
Per has an outstanding resume within the hockey business and as a professional player himself. Per played in his career over 200+ games in NHL and another 600+ games in SHL, Since retiring from playing, he has worked in Modo Hockey for 5 years as a General Manager and the Director of Player Development. He has been a licensed agent since 2017. Per brings a lot of experience and knowledge to the team and he will help our players to reach their fullest potential both on and off the ice.
Filippa is assisting Nina in all aspects of Wesport’s business including administration, service management, and office management. Filippa has a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Marketing from Charleston Southern University. Filippa also had a successful tennis career both nationally and internationally on a junior level as well as a collegiate career at CSU.
As Wesport’s financial manager, Karl manages all of Wesport’s accounting and financial transactions. He is also a licensed hockey agent, playing a key role in the service of all of our hockey clients as well as Wesport’s day to day operations. Prior to joining Wesport, Karl successfully ran his personal business offering management and accounting services. Karl has a BA in Sports Management from Sodertorn University.
Adam is an integral part of Wesport’s tennis division by managing and assisting all of our current tennis clients as well as scouting the next generation tennis stars. With personal experience being on the ATP tour himself, and having spent his entire career working in professional sports, Adam understands how to connect brands with the best possible sponsorship channel through our sales and consulting services. Adam has a degree in Business and Sports Management from Rice University in Houston, TX.
Stefan has been a football agent since 2014. As a player himself, Stefan won 3 Swedish National Championships and scored the most goals in Sweden’s highest division, Allsvenskan in 2001. He has also represented the Swedish national team and played abroad in the Netherlands. Stefan has the experience to guide our youngest players to reach their fullest potential as well as help players to the next level clubs in Europe and all over the world.
Patrick has worked in the international business of football for over 30 years, makes him the most experienced and established sports agent in Sweden. Patrick has represented some of Sweden’s best players both on an international and national level. As a senior football agent, Patrick will make sure our players are in the best possible club and league.
Harald is experienced working with sales and brand building. He will be part of Wesport’s sales arm out to the corporate world and adding value to all of our clients through creating commercial opportunities.
Tonny is one of the most experienced football scouts in Sweden. Tonny has been working with Patrick for a long time and together they have found many of Sweden’s most talented football players. Tonny’s experience and expertise within the football industry brings another dimension to our football division. Tonny scouts all over Sweden and also other parts of the world.
Carl is an experienced and recognized sports lawyer and currently the Head of Sports & Entertainment at MAQS Law Firm in Stockholm. He has previously worked as the Sports Director of BK Häcken. Together with Anton Olsson, Carl is responsible for all the legal matters at Wesport.
Daniel is a lawyer at MAQS Law Firrn and its part of MAQS’ Sport and Entertainment group. Daniel works together with Carl and Anton on all of Wesport’s legal matters. For instance, Daniel assists Wesport in matters related to drafting, reviewing and negotiation of commercial agreements and the rules and regulations of sports.
David, a former ice hockey player with experience from SHL, Allsvenskan and from the junior national teams. Since retiring in 2017 due to an injury, David has successfully worked in sales. Thanks to his professional experiences as an ice hockey player, he possesses great insight and understanding of the sport that he now will carry into scouting, recruiting and client management.
